parallel currently does not work with the Mac Pro. The folks at Parallels have said they will release an update n the near future that will correct the problem that keeps the Mac Pro and Parallels from running.
So for the time being, no one can do the test you have asked for.
However, I can tell you that Parallels running with an intel iMac is very responsive and works very well for all of the Windows apps we make use of. Currently the only place where parallels show any problems is with video support, though I understand Parallels is making progress there as well.
